As a Production Engineer in assembly, you will become an important part of BAE's continued expansion journey within the marine product area. Here, you will work in a technology-intensive environment with a strong focus on industrialization, method development, and optimization of production flows.

You will play a central role in developing efficient, safe, and resource-efficient assembly processes, as well as industrializing both new and existing products. You will be part of a dedicated team within production engineering with a broad level of experience and close collaboration between preparation, design, production, and development.

• Develop methods, processes, and assembly steps for efficient and safe production
• Create assembly instructions and work hands-on with drawing reviews and technical documentation
• Plan and lead changes in production flows and layouts
• Develop production equipment, fixtures, and lifting tools in collaboration with the development department
• Perform analyses of assembly times, cycle times, and resource needs
• Participate in change and design groups to ensure manufacturability
• Contribute to the digitization of production and the development of new working methods
• Work daily in CAD and design systems and use ERP/MPS support
• Ensure that production processes meet requirements for quality, delivery precision, and efficiency

Has experience from a similar role, preferably from larger assembly factories or complex manufacturing industries. We see that you have a genuine interest in production engineering, industrialization, and improvement work, and thrive in a role where you can combine technical challenges with practical problem-solving.

• Post-secondary education in engineering, preferably mechanical engineering
• Experience working with drawings, CAD, and design data
• Experience with MPS/ERP systems (SAP is a plus)
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
• Driver's license B

As a person, you are analytical, curious, and methodical. You have the ability to see the big picture but also enjoy diving into details when needed. You like to experiment, test new solutions, and adapt processes when conditions change.
You are communicative and collaborate easily with both production, preparation, and development – and you are confident in driving technical issues forward.

The position involves work that is subject to defense secrecy, therefore we require Swedish citizenship. A security clearance and health check will be conducted before employment.
